MARYSVILLE VIKING REGIMENT proudly presents "The Proud...The Brave" 4th Place in Flight IV with a score of 86.963 MCBA State Competition - Ford Field Saturday, 11/2/2019

This year, the Viking Regiment faced many learning experiences and challenges to overcome throughout the season. It is my hope that each band member realizes how crucial their individual performance is for the overall success of the show. This season, the band was able to improve their score at the final two competitions of the regular season and secure their 4th place ranking heading into Ford Field. Although the weather was a factor throughout this season, the band continued to work hard right until their departure for Ford Field. This work paid off as the Viking Regiment earned their highest score of the season at the state championship. The seniors also attained their two goals this year by beating Clio and bringing home a trophy rather than a plaque! Again, congratulations to the Viking Regiment and the Class of 2020 on your successful marching season.
Our deepest thanks to the following individuals: CheyAnn Yeager, Color Guard Instructor Scott Sanders, Percussion Instructor Gary Holowitz, Percussion Instructor Raelynn Wassom, Front Ensemble Mr. Mack Pittard, Musical arrangement Mr. Keith Burns, Drill design

A special thank you to Mrs. Andrea Paul for the enormous amount of time and energy spent supporting the Viking Regiment. Mrs. Paul was instrumental in organizing the send-off dinner for the Viking Regiment prior to leaving for Ford Field. In addition, she has chaperoned all of the competitions and provided thousands of pictures to capture the memories throughout the season.
