The marching season preparation officially began on Sunday, July 25
2021 with a week-long band camp at Colombiere Retreat Center in Clarkston, Michigan. Due to the Covid pandemic, this was the first experience of overnight band camp for a majority of the band. After getting settled in, the band worked extremely hard to build the foundation of their competition show. Along with preparing for the MCBA season, the band was busy preparing for football games and the crowd favorite "Bandarama Concert." Each week, the band showed slow but steady progress. All of the 7:00 am's, evening sectionals and band camps paid off with the results of their appearance at Ford Field on November 6, 2021. The Viking Regiment finished their marching season as the MCBA Flight IV, State Runner Ups! "PLAY WITH POWER, MARCH WITH PRIDE" |
